CERAMIC FACTORY is a house of high-end contemporary ceramics rooted in Normandy. It develops the House Collection and works with artists, from the first creative exchange to the finished edition.

From clay formulation to artwork.
Our approach to material draws on the history of RAOULT FILS, a family company founded in Normandy in 1889. Through Raoult & Beck, we formulate and manufacture our own clay bodies.
This expertise informs CERAMIC FACTORY’s exploration of form, texture and colour. Material and form are conceived together, from the composition of the clay body to its transformation in the kiln.

Baptiste Macé × CERAMIC FACTORY
The collaboration with Baptiste Macé explores the balance of volumes, the tension of lines and the presence of ceramics within a space.
A master potter, he brings his experience of shaping clay to a dialogue with the House around form, gesture and material.
Form, gesture & fire
Three stages, one artwork.
Slow drying and high-temperature firing are as decisive as the shaping itself.
Model
Build the form, preserve its tension and allow the trace to remain.
Balance
Work with the weight of the clay and its progressive drying shrinkage.
Fire
Bring the material to around 1200°C to reveal its strength and depth.
Made to last
From the studio to the installation site.
Indoor / outdoor
Low porosity, resistance to frost and thermal variations.
Stability
Ventilated bases, drainage and anchoring designed for the setting.
Care
Cleaning with clear water or low pressure. Natural patina belongs to the evolution of the artwork.
